Cognition as a framework for letting natural intelligence get into artificial intelligence technologies

Jean-Luc SCHWARTZ Laboratory GIPSA

Cognitive sciences refer to the alliance between life sciences, human and social sciences and communication and information sciences aiming at understanding how the brain enables humans to understand and interact with their environment. This talk will present research in "natural intelligence" and the way it could relate to technologies derived from artificial intelligence, making them potentially more efficient, more adapted and more acceptable by the human users. It will also present the bunch of research projects available in Grenoble, and the domains of applications where Grenoble research teams are likely to provide crucial input to companies for "letting cognition enter their products and outputs".
